The Moroccan wedding while being unified in many customs, some local peculiarities mark it to create a unique identity for each region :

The Saharan provinces in Morocco celebrate the marriage ceremony differently from other parts of the kingdom soaking local traditions while remaining similar in background and joy to other Moroccan weddings. In southern Morocco, rituals and the customs that accompany a Sahrawi traditional marriage are drawn from the local tradition.
