08:00 Unknown
Negafa / Ziana is a term that often comes in the Moroccan wedding to designate the person who is responsible for dress and introduce the bride during the wedding ceremony. Often this service provides the young wife of several traditional costumes and jewelry to adorn as responsible for organizing the passage-parade of the young woman held after each shift.

But back to the origin of the term Negafa and history. The name comes from Negafa Tanguifte word that actually calls the procession accompanying the young promised Amazigh from her home to the marital home, it is a term that has been used mainly in the Souss region. But the appearance of Negafa in Moroccan culture is rooted in the ancient city of Fez, where a woman of the family circle of the bride was in charge of preparing for her wedding for her bath and to clothing and hairdressing, she also helped in other wedding preparations and for several months. In Morocco the term Negafa is the most used but is found in some other parts of words such as Ziana and Machta that mean hair and makeup respectively.
In Moroccan Negafa the ceremonies and his assistants take a primary role in the wedding celebration, they are the guardians of tradition and sartorial heritage of Moroccan brides. The Negafa is usually contacted several months before the big day to choose different outfits for different representative bride regions of the kingdom with the key a few key pieces as the representative lebssa fassiya Fez, that of Rabat, another northern kingdom, a traditional costume of the Berber wedding. The provider helps the bride and her family to choose the outfits and jewelry matched without forgetting the famous ammariya with its eastern decorum befitting a princess and is used to carry the bride and her husband on the shoulders of four young men that greet his family, friends and guests in their applause.

But most of the work of the Negafa begins the day when she charge of dressing the young promise of a green caftan before installing it on a platform where it can be admired when we apply it tattoos henna on the hands and feet. She is obviously stressed the wedding day, because it acts as dresser behind the scenes by adorning the bride with her costumes and ornaments and accessories that go with it .
